Hyderabad Design Week - Rickshaw Installation
Hyderabad is a melting pot of North and South Indian cultures. With a mixture of language, architecture, art, religion & food makes the city very diverse and colourful, which inspired the artwork created for the rickshaw. I picked up elements from all these aspects which seemed most popular, such us the Hyderabadi biryani, kuchipudi dance form, the world's tallest monolith of Gautama Buddha right in the middle of Hussain Sagar, the Hyderabadi Lingo. The city is known for its Pearls, and street markets, which further inspired the colours of the artwork leaning more towards the bright yellows and warm colours that are as vibrant as the city itself.
