Illustrated Campaign Poster for Project 35 Trees, a 4 month long epic journey across India to plant saplings and teach children/students to take care of them and grow them into trees. The project was conceived by Hari Chakyar, a writer at an advertising agency, an up-cycled paper artist and a popular eco-evangelist/activist. Together along with his filmmaker friend Anthony, they moved across India spreading awareness of the importance of trees and planting them along the way inspiring thousands of people and setting a new bench mark as India’s first ever independent and crowd-funded eco-education/action project. Hari approached us to create a campaign poster for the pre-launch of their film using a sketched style. Never shying away from good philanthropic opportunities, we took up the work and sketched out the two eco-activists amidst a grove of trees.
